Alley cat turned house cat: Diesel

From feral to fabulous! This adorable kitty managed to find his way into the kitchen of a Los Angeles restaurant about 2 months ago. After the restaurant’s owner saw him cowering in terror behind a refrigerator, she started leaving out food, water and a litterbox for him. For three weeks, no one could catch so much as a glimpse of the fugitive feline, but the food was gone each day and he used the litter box. What to do?

Noura needed help, so an experienced trapper named Ray brought over a trap and taught her what to do. Success! She took him to FixNation the very next day. She learned that the kitty was about 3.5 months old and had an old wound on his neck. The clinic staff gave him lots of TLC and said that with patience and time the kitty had great potential to be tamed.

Noura took him home and kept him in her bathroom, intending at first just to foster him and socialize him enough to be adopted. But over the course of the next month she fell in love as he transformed into an amazingly sweet and affectionate kitty, one that purred and purred like a diesel engine. Noura decided to give him a forever home and she named him….Diesel!
