Fees for Companion / Pet Cats

FixNation offers affordable spay/neuter surgery for pet cats and kittens in to help increase access to all pet owners.  Low-cost fees* for pet cats, rescued cats and kittens seeking adoption are as follows (effective July 1, 2024):

• Spay (female) $80
  • Pregnant (additional cost) $40
  • In-Heat (additional cost) $10
• Neuter (male) $65
  • Cryptorchid – Inguinal or Abdominal  (additional cost) $30 or $40 

(All spay/neuter services include pain meds, basic antibiotics, fluids and a mandatory e-collar)

Optional Services:

• Flea Treatment: $25
• Rabies Vaccine: $10
• FVRCP Vaccine: $15
• Microchip: $20
• Nail Trim: $10
• E-collar: $5
• FeLV/FIV Testing: $40
• Deworming (only as needed): $25

Services with additional charge:

• Antibiotics To Go Home: $25 – $50
• Miscellaneous Medication: $10 – $20
  (Must be pre-authorized at check-in and only administered if deemed necessary by the veterinarian)
• Convenia Antibiotic Injection: $35
  (Must be pre-authorized at check-in and prescribed by the veterinarian)
• Umbilical Hernia Repair: $30

Note: Payment is due the day services are performed. We accept cash, debit and credit cards. We do not accept checks. 

Residents of the City of Los Angeles are eligible for discount vouchers through the LA Animal Services, which must be presented at check in on the same day your pet is in for surgery. Additional City assistance programs can make surgery even less expensive with proof of financial hardship. Contact LA Animal Services for more information at 1-888-452-7381.
