My story isn’t particularly funny or extraordinary. I’ve always loved animals. My relationship with FixNation started about one year ago, when a momma cat left her two babies in our side yard. I talked to our local animal control but they were only going to put the kittens to sleep. I couldn’t let that happen, so I asked around and found out about the wonderful people at FixNation. Those two babies that I got fixed, released and still feed to this day have drawn about six or seven more feral cats from the neighborhood. My colony now has about eight cats that have been fixed, are fed daily and have a safe shelter they can use to stay warm. I have eight cats in my life that won’t let me touch them or even come within six feet of them but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
