FixNation is a non-profit organization committed to cats, and to supporting Trap-Neuter-Return. We provide a free, full-time spay/neuter clinic for cats (Wednesday-Saturday) with two full-time veterinarians capable of sterilizing as many as 100 cats per day.  We also provide low-cost, affordable spay/neuter services for tame pet cats. We loan out humane traps and equipment to the public free of charge, provide training on how to humanely trap feral cats and kittens, and offer guidance and information on long-term care and management for feral colonies. We are located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley and have been operational as a non-profit since 2007.

Homeless, Stray or Feral Cat Programs

• Free Spay/Neuter for homeless (stray and feral) cats
  The most expensive and important piece of the TNR model, providing free spay/neuter for homeless cats lifts the financial burden from caregivers and ensures that their colonies do not grow.

• Community Training on Humane Cat Trapping
  FixNation’s expert staff conduct 1-hour training sessions on humane trapping techniques and care of feral cat colonies, at the clinic several times each week.  If you are new to TNR and wish to take advantage of our Trap Loan Program, you are required to attend at least one session.

• Humane Trap Loan Program
  Feral cats cannot be handled and must arrive at the FixNation clinic in a humane, non-collapsible trap.  We provide traps free of charge (30 day loan) or you can purchase your own with a FixNation discount from Tomahawk Traps.

• Educational Workshops on Trap-Neuter-Return and Spay/Neuter
  FixNation staff and trained volunteers work in the community to elevate the awareness of TNR and ultimately reduce shelter intake and euthanasia rates for cats as a whole. If you’re interested in having a TNR or spay/neuter workshop presented in your school, church, workplace, or community group, please contact FixNation today!

Pet Cat Services

• Low-cost Spay/Neuter for pet cats and kittens
  With thousands of cats killed in Los Angeles animal shelters each year, the spay/neuter of pet cats is more important now than ever. FixNation offers affordable spay/neuter surgery and vaccinations for cats and kittens to help increase access to all pet owners.  (Additional City assistance programs can make surgery even less expensive with proof of financial hardship.)

• Free Spay/Neuter for pet cats/kittens of low-income families in the San Fernando Valley
  FixNation understands the financial challenges that prevent some pet owners from sterilizing their cats. In order to help these families, we have partnered with Best Friends Animal Society to offer FREE Spay/Neuter for families making less than $40,000/year living in the zip codes 91405, 91342, 91331, 91605, 91402.  (Eligibility required)

• Low-cost Wellness Clinic for pet cats (and dogs!)
  Providing affordable care for the pets of Los Angeles is one of FixNation’s priorities. Every Sunday, FixNation’s Wellness Clinic offers health exams, vaccines, tests, and microchips.
