FixNation featured in award-winning documentary, Crazy Cat Lady

‘Crazy Cat Lady’ is a feature-length documentary focused on the feral cat crisis in Los Angeles, and the dedicated – though at times mischaracterized – volunteers who are on the front lines of rescue, TNR (trap, neuter, return), fostering/adoption and more. These same animal-lovers include college professors, young students, CPAs, veterinarians who offer pro-bono services, philanthropists, and well-meaning “cat collectors” -aka-hoarders-aka- “Crazy Cat Ladies” (and gentlemen).

There are estimated to be 3,000,000 feral cats in L.A. and due to an injunction that currently prohibits government funding to be utilized for spaying/neutering/feline-population control, the onus is solely on these volunteers who do TNR work, and donor-supported spay and neuter clinics to attempt to mitigate this seemingly-insolvable situation.
