They’re largely unseen, but they’re out there. On the streets, in abandoned buildings, living invisibly. One million homeless, stray or feral cats, and if they’re not “fixed” they continue to reproduce; giving birth to more homeless cats. Before long, the issue has turned into a problem, a problem of millions of homeless, stray or feral cats wandering our streets, largely forgotten. FixNation is dedicated to helping spay/neuter and care for as many homeless cats as possible. Our mostly free clinic is staffed with amazing veterinarians and dedicated volunteers who devote their time and talent to help as many cats as possible to be healthy, happy and safe.
Through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), we have captured cats in the most humane way possible, “fixed” them and returned them to their homes. We have educated the public and trained volunteers. But it costs money to run our clinic, and to provide the humane traps used to capture cats in order to help keep them safe and healthy.
